Walking the Camino to Compostella

Located on the Voie d'Arles (The Arles Way – Via Tolosana – GR 653), the Château de Verdalle offers a well-deserved stopover halfway between Arles and the Col du Somport, and right next to the Abbey of En Calcat and the Sainte Scholastique Abbey.

Pilgrims may enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the gardens and the Chapel of Silence within the castle itself.

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft und außergewöhnliche Gastgeber. Christian und Francine sind sehr nett, zuvorkommend und legen viel Wert darauf, dass man sich bei ihnen wohl fühlt. Das französische Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war köstlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr konfortabel und individuell eingerichtet. Das Haus sowie der umgebende Park strahlen eine Atmosphäre der Ruhe, Entspannung und Schönheit aus. Vielen Dank für die schönen Stunden bei und mit euch!

 Nous avons été très bien accueillis. La chambre était superbe et le cadre magnifique ! Le petit déjeuner était vraiment bon. Le propriétaire a pris le temps de nous présenter les lieux de façon tout à fait spontanée. Sa disponibilité de même que sa grande sympathie sont un grand ++ !
